In working to create a culture of safety and professionalism students will be required to wear their ID's at all times in the building.
Starting Monday, October 3rd, Students will be required to swipe their ID to enter the school building as well as provide their IDS when entering the school restrooms.
If a student still has not received an ID card they are to fill out the request form when they enter the building in the morning and use the printed temporary pass for the day until Ms. Galletti gets you your ID.
Thank you for your support and cooperation with Academy's ID policy.

Dear Students:
Fall 2023 student schedules will begin to be developed with your input at a scheduled meeting with your
guidance counselor.
The Guidance Team, Mr. Mayer, and I are providing these instructions, to help prepare you for your guidance
meeting to REQUEST your choices for your course sequences, course options, and elective choices.
Please review the charts below for your grade level and speak with your family BEFORE you attend the
guidance meeting. These meetings will begin to be scheduled starting February 27th. You will find a description
of each course and their requirements on the Academy of American Studies Website:

Use the appropriate chart for your selections, and bring it with you to your guidance appointment. Together
with your guidance counselor, requests will be considered.
Requirements for all grade levels:
Please review your current grade to identify the options for next year and come prepared to the guidance
meeting with this completed request form. Your guidance counselor will be able to answer any questions at the
time of the appointment or by email in advance.
