The Academy's athletic program augments our school's strenuous academic programs by offering students the opportunity to challenge themselves physically in the competitive and stimulating environment of interscholastic athletics. Our school currently has seven teams participating in the Public School Athletic League's sports program: Baseball, Boy's and Girl's Basketball, Co-ed Bowling, Softball, and Boy's and Girl's Volleyball.
Our teams have enjoyed much success in our school's recent history! Our Girl's Volleyball Teams were the school's trailblazers. Their 2001Division Championship and run as finalists in that year's League Championship Tournament began a string of consecutive season playoff appearances. They repeated as Division Champions in 2006.
The Boy's Volleyball Team followed the ladies' lead by becoming Division Champions themselves in 2002 and advancing to the Final Four in the 2004 playoffs!
The Girl's Basketball Team has enjoyed their best seasons the past two years. They went undefeated in league play and became Division Champions in 2006-2007 advancing to the Elite Eight in that year's tournament.
The Boy's Basketball Team wrote their own chapter in our school's history winning their first ever playoff game in '03 on their way to becoming Division Champions in consecutive seasons (2002-'03 and 2003-'04).
The Baseball, Softball and Bowling teams have been tremendously competitive as recent additions to our already successful sports program.
