Fifteen Academy students had projects submitted to the New York City History Day Contest this month.
We are pleased to announce that 8 students are advancing to the next level of competition at the New York State History Day Contest in April.

2nd place Individual Documentary - Arithra Das for her project "Iran Contra Affair With Ronald Reagan: Presidential Saint or Sinner?"
3rd place Group Documentary - Helen DeFalco, Bianca Lee and Mary Huerta for their project "Where Should Censorship Draw the Line: Japan's Denial of Women's Victimization"
3rd place Group Performance - Jacob Buron, Yoonha Lee, Diego Shirazi for their project "The 1994 MLB Strike"
