FOR FALL 2019 INCOMING STUDENTS

If you missed the Accepted Students Open House on April 16, 2019, here are a few highlights that you should be aware of:

1. Please complete the New Student Information Survey - Click here

2. Your success on your Regents exams and Language Proficiency exam is very important to us.  So, do your best and if you have questions about high school courses and credits contact Assistant Principal, Mr. Solkoff

3. You can still schedule a tour of the Academy through the end of May.  Call 718-433-2556 to make an appointment.

4. You can sign up for the US History Summer Intensive Program for incoming 9th graders. Here is more information about the program.  Contact Mr. Randle with question.  Register using the following link:  https://tinyurl.com/AASsummer2019  - This is a great opportunity to get a head start on your high school requirements and to meet new friends over the summer before school starts.  Seats are limited.

5. PSAL Athletic Tryouts require a medical and permission slip.  Questions contact the Athletic Director, Mr. Alarcon.  (Soccer Team tryouts will be in late August and the dates and information will be posted on the Academy website.)

6. The two half-day New Student Orientation with the Academy Big Sib Program is at the end of August and the dates will be announced by the middle of June.

7. Incoming Students are eligible to sign up for the Academy's International Trip to Europe next year during Spring Break.  More information is here.  Questions contact Mr. Randle
