Shakespeare Monologue Competition

Dear Academy Students: 

We will be hosting an Academy of American Studies Shakespeare Monologue Performance Competition the first week of February 2023. 

The competition is open to all Academy students. If you are interested in competing, please click on this link to select your piece. 

You will need to memorize and perform the monologue. In order to achieve this, it is recommended that you begin the process now. 

Here is a copy of the rubric that will be used to select our winner, who will go to the city-wide competition in March.
